Alcatel One Touch Soleil 5021E: Unboxing and Specifications

Alcatel One Touch Soleil is a 4.0” Touch Screen dual sim smartphone powered by 1Ghz dual core running on Android v.4.1 Jelly Bean. It has 5MP Camera, Wi-Fi and 3G/HSDPA network capabilities.

My eldest sister got this free from Sun Cellular for the retention of her postpaid plan 350.  This phone has three available colors (black, white and blue).  She chose the black unit.










The box/package includes OT Soleil 5021E unit, battery, wall charger, USB connector, stereo headset, warranty certificate and of course, the manual (quick start guide).  It also comes with a screen protector.





In front below the screen, there you can see the Back Key, Home Key, and Recent App Key being lighted if the screen is activated. The power key and the 3.5MM headset connector are located on top. With phone facing up, the volume buttons are located on the right side, while the Micro-USB connector is on the left side.  The back camera is 5MP while the front camera is 0.3MP.    The speaker is also on the back, near the camera.



Alcatel One Touch Soleil 5021E is a dual SIM and dual standby phone.  SIM 1 is locked with Sun Cellular, while SIM 2 is openline.  The phone's internal storage is 4GB while its memory/RAM is 512mb. The storage slot for micro-SD supports up to 32GB. There's no micro-SD card included in the package.
